The Importance of Water

One thing that a lot of people forget for achieving healthy skin is drinking an adequate amount of water daily. Water is very important for the function of the organs in our body. It helps bodily functions including digestion, circulation and excretion to name a few. If we do not consume enough water daily, toxins build up in our bodies.

Many people go through each day mildly dehydrated and consuming far fewer fluids than they should. Water benefits your body in so many ways and drinking the recommended 8 glasses a day shouldn’t be forgotten.

Water will reward you with so many benefits to your health, energy and… your complexion! Our skin being the largest organ, needs water to keep toxins from building up and escaping through our pores. This will help prevent skin disorders such as acne, eczema and psoriasis. It will also help eliminate sunken eyes and dark circles. Drinking the recommended 8 glasses a day will help skin appear to be fresh, clear and younger.

Also, don’t forget that lots of fresh fruits and vegetables will satisfy some of your body’s fluid requirements while also being loaded with anti-aging anti-oxidants!
